Next time you are looking for western wear, eschew Mango and Splash and consider these innovative brands.

Kiyaraa

Sisters Wafa Umer and Eeshah Khalid Usman created this brand based in Karachi to cater to a much neglected segment in the Pakistani fashion scene. The brand primarily focuses on tops but has a wonderful selection of pants and printed scarves as well.

Style: The line embodies simple sophistication. Their casual tops are perfect for a lunch with friends or a business meeting. Lace sleeves, and subtle draping  add a feminine elegance to wardrobe basics.

Favorite piece: “Coco” pants combine androgynous tailoring with luxe silk material. The elongating black and white stripes and wide-leg shape make it the perfect take on this season’s relaxed summer dressing.
