A massive stage was set, and four brilliant opening acts, namely Lyari Underground, Khumaariyan, Tamasha and Sounds of Kolachi, set the perfect mood for the night! But perhaps, one of the most noteworthy factors was the timeliness of the whole event which commenced and ended at a suitable time, according to schedule.
Junoon began their act with a tribute to the Father of the Nation before going on to perform iconic hits such as ‘Khudi’, ‘Sayoonee’, ‘Saaien’ and countless others. The band then came full circle with a beautiful tribute to Junaid Jamshed in the form of a heartwarming performance of ‘Dil Dil Pakistan’.
For the band’s last performance of the evening, ‘Jazba Junoon’, we witnessed a brilliant firework show that literally ended the night with a bang! The event concluded with the singing of the National Anthem as massive green fireworks filled the air. It was indeed a legendary night, with the band putting forth one of their best performances yet.
