What you might have missed on social media this week

Our Instagram feed had a busy week with celebrity weddings, baby celebrity dolls and some drama!

The most hyped affair was the DeepVeer wedding of course, and let’s be honest- you couldn’t have missed this one even if you wanted to! Their private wedding in Italy and the Bengalaru reception both had everyone gushing over their beautiful pictures, and lucky for us there’s still one more event to go! *sob*

And for our Pakistani version of a celeb wedding we had Aimen Khan and Muneeb Butt tie the knot!

In fashion news, Dolce & Gabbana made a racist advertisement showing a Chinese woman attempting to eat Italian food with chopsticks, followed by Stefano Gabbana making some ridiculous statements in an argument on Instagram. This led to a great public outcry and their grand show in China being canceled. As damage control, the brand even tried to use the “we got hacked” tactic, before finally apologizing in a public statement.

Across the border, Taimur Ali Khan’s fandom reached new heights as they came up with a look alike doll, but let’s face it- it’s a rather scary doll of a very cute boy.

Another cute moment was when during an official visit Malayasian first lady Siti Hasmah Mohamad Ali sweetly requested to hold Imran Khan’s hand when posing for a picture! Though it did have us wondering if this would have garnered the same “awww” response had it been a Pakistani woman in her place…
