A day before the release of ‘Teefa in Trouble’ a small crowd gathered outside a fast food restaurant in Karachi, where Ali Zafar had arrived to promote the film. At the premiere the following day however, the crowd grew in number and things got seemingly rowdy. Some protesters managed to enter the cinema building with the use of their tickets, but were removed by security. The crowd continued its protest outside, calling out to celebrities and media personalities who arrived to attend the premiere.
NOT a good look, Feroze.

In April, Meesha Shafi accused Ali Zafar of sexually harassing her on more than one occasion. Ali denied the allegations in a statement on the same day, and later sent Meesha a legal notice in which he demanded that she delete the tweet that contained her allegations against him and issue an apology on Twitter, failing which he will file a Rs100 crore defamation suit against her.
Ali has since filed a defamation case worth Rs1 billion against Meesha, who has also filed a sexual harassment case which is still pending before the relevant authorities.
