Day 4 of PSFW15 summed up as follows:

Sana Safinaz

The star collection at PSFW was showcased by none other than Sana Safinaz. Black and white silhouettes with bold intervention of colors on luxe fabrics such as silk and satin, with detailed embellishments on organza; being one of the most commonly used materials in the Pakistani fashion scene lately were seen.

Rating: 10 out of 10

Our favorite looks from the collection are as follows:

Republic by Omar Farooq

We have seen better work from the designer who also recently won PIA Style Runway in Menswear. The collection titled “Que Sera, Sera” was way too passé, apart from a few select pieces that could actually be deemed wearable. Oversized Ts and batman-ish capes are not what we want to see our men in. The only highlight of the showcase was Fawad Khan on the ramp! *drools*

Rating: 5 out of 10

Our favorite looks from the Que Sera, Sera collection are as follows:

Syeda Amera

“The World of Sea” collection by Syeda Amera was based in aquatic tones such as cyan, various shades of blue, aqua marine with hints of dull gold tones. We enjoyed the intricate embellishments on ultra feminine silhouettes that truly reflected the beauty of the under water world. We believe if there were mermaids in Pakistan, they would probably look like this, as a matter of fact, we quite like the idea of desi mermaids!

Rating: 8 out of 10

Our favorite looks from the World of Sea collection are as follows:

Huma & Amir Adnan

What is it about menswear never looking good on the ramp? Oh wait, it only looks good if it actually is.

Huma & Amir Adnan showcased collectively at PSFW15 for the first time and it was, well, strange. Strange menswear and stranger womenswear.

Rating: 5 out of 10

Our favorite looks from the Symphony collection are as follows:

Sania Maskatiya

We always look forward to Sania Maskatiya’s showcase. This time around she displayed her collection titled “Paristan”, which was an embodiment of fairies and other mythical creations such as elves and ponies. The color palette ranged from sunrise shades to midnight hues in the effortless signature style of the brand.

Rating: 8 out of 10

Our favorite looks from the Paristan collection are as follows:

HSY

Finale of PSFW15 was presented by none other than the man behind every notable fashion week in Pakistan; Hassan Shehryar Yasin. “INK” collection is a depiction of Asian cultures and based in chrome yellow and midnight blue tones mainly. The silhouettes were equally diverse and classy, however, for menswear we feel we’re still crushing over his “Hi Octane” collection showcased at TFPW15 earlier this year.

Rating: 10 out of 10

Our favorite looks from the INK collection are as follows:
