How did you become a fashion stylist?

Ever since I was a kid I was into coloring and I was very good at drawing, luckily colors played a very important role in my life, so I took a sensible decision of becoming a makeup artist.

What was your first proper job in the styling world?

My first proper job in the styling world was LUX with AaminahHaq

What fashion advice would you give to an average person?

My fashion advice would be that simplicity is the key in life. I mean an average person will always look on point if she wears a normal kurta and applies a little bit of kajal and mascara. No extra effort is needed in order to look nice.

What is the biggest misconception that people not working in your field have about your job?

The biggest misconception people have about people working in this field is that there is no respect and the income is low.

Which celebrities have you loved working with so far?

The  celebrities I have loved working with so far are; Mahira Khan, Fawad Khan, Ayesha Omer, Sonya Jehan, AaminahHaq, BaberaShareef, Veenaand Meera.

What is your all time favorite look you created?

My all time favorite look was created on Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan for LUX Style Awards.

If you could choose a celebrity to shop for, who’s would it be and why?

I would choose Sajjal Ali because I feel she still needs a little bit of grooming.

Which trends do you see disappearing?

Well according to me I think people have lost touch with simplicity, if you see around people don’t really do natural makeup anymore and their outfits are really gaudy. One should have a perfect balance between flashy and simplicity.

If you could choose any personality from Pakistan to give a makeover, who would it be and why?

Well if I had to choose any celebrity from Pakistan to give a makeover it would be AnisaFarooqi because I think she has the capacity to look even better after my make over.  Another person I would love to do a makeover on would be Sajjal Ali.
