Describe yourself in a single line?

In answer to this, I would like to share a phrase of “Mohsin Naqvi Sahab”  i.e. “Hamari jaan pe dohra azaab hai Mohsin, ke dekhna hi nahin hamko sochna bhi hai”.

What was your first role as an actor?

My first on screen role was Kashmir Singh in Four-man show on AAJ TV.

What are your weaknesses and strengths?

I only have one weakness that I would like to share with you, that is, you can easily blackmail me emotionally. Whereas, my biggest strength is that I’m a fighter, I have been fighting all my life with my fears. Also, I am a workaholic, a little insane and psychotic in a good way, so I think I will call it my strength.

In how many television shows have you performed?

I started off with “Four Man Show” on AAJ TV , then I did “Jutt Butt and Yo” on Play TV, then I did Banana News Network “BNN” on Geo TV, I have also been a news anchor on Geo TV. Nowadays I am doing a show on Dunya TV by the name of “Mazakraat”.

In a biographical film of your life, who would you like to play you?

In my opinion “nobody can play me better than me”.

You always look so great, how do you stay in shape? What’s your secret?

I remember I used to tell my mother that I do only three things with great passion i.e. eating, singing and working out. Workout is the only thing that I have been doing for quite a long time, but I never work out to put on weight, I always workout to be in shape. If I skip a workout, I usually get a nightmare that my belly will protrude and that is why I think I am over conscious about my body.

A lot of people look up to you, but who inspires you? Who is your role model?

In my whole struggling period even up till now  only two people have motivated me; whenever I feel down and I feel the need of some motivation I listen to Shahrukh Khan’s speeches or I read Will Smith’s quotes, their struggling stories have actually inspired me more than anyone out there.

What do you enjoy the most about your job?

I think the best part about my job is that I entertain people and make them smile.

Of all those roles you have played in the past, which is your favourite one?

Up till now I enjoyed my role in Muqabil the most, it’s my recent drama in which I am playing a character of Armaan and I am personally enjoying it.

On what do you spend the most?

I spend the most on clothes, and I would like to spend on perfumes but usually I receive perfumes as gifts, and oh – I spend a lot on people around me.

Do you believe in love at first sight?

I think that’s just an attraction that’s not love so I don’t believe in it.

What are you working on these days?

Recently I am involved with Mazakraat which is an important project for me along with Muqabil, and I am working on surprise project which shall be revealed soon. One more thing that I have been up to is to launch a music video, that’s all for now.

Do you believe in love at first sight?

I think that’s just an attraction, it’s not real love, so I don’t believe in it.

Do you think you could have done a past performance better?

There is always room for improvement in everything. I learn from my past work and try to do things better than before each time.

What kind of roles do you prefer?

I like serious and dark roles. I do enjoy comedy but I’m more interested in being a part of a serious project like our very own film Shah.

What’s your dream role?

I would love to play the role of “Joker” onscreen.

What are you working on these days?
