The Pakistani summer is a long one and let’s face it, majority of us inevitably struggle with finding ourselves the best summer-friendly hairstyle and end up piling up our hair for a ‘messy look.’

We took some inspiration from our local celebrities and found some fun hairstyles to try this summer.

Short and sleek

Short hair is the perfect solution for when the heat gets unbearable, plus it looks super trendy and chic! Zara Peerzada’s short new summer do looks perfect.

short and curly

Saheefa Jabbar’s last hairstyle challenged the common misconception that curly hair is not meant for short hairstyles! While she has grown out her hair since, this remains one of our favourite looks. So don’t fear if your hair isn’t straight like the others’, have fun with it anyway!

The top Knot

Since a simple updo is what most of us with long hair opt for, take inspiration from Sanam Saeed’s holiday look and tie  your hair in a neat high bun. Fuss-free and cool!

The Fish Braid

Everyone loved Mahira Khan’s fish braid at Cannes, and it really is the perfect way to keep your hair tied and look elegant for an evening out, especially for a wedding.

Accessorised updo

Experiment with accessories to add some spunk to your hairdo. Be it a simple ponytail or a slick bun, the right accessories can add that extra zing, and take it from a work hairstyle to an evening out!

the front braid

Even if you have short hair, sometimes you just want to keep it off your face! This is where the funky front braid comes in— it gives a neat touch and looks edgy.
