You cannot go wrong with black!

You can't go wrong with black and that holds true for just about every fashion decision. Black was the colour of the evening at the 2022 Brit Awads with the stars choosing it as their fashion statement of choice. Another trend that emerged was the 'cut out.' Think Kendall Jenner's inappropriate wedding dress - definitely worked better on the red carpet. Also, nude lips and nails.

The undisputed Queen of Everything - Adele charmed in a custom Armani. She carried the glamour of an old school movie star, with her golden trusses slicked back. The full sleeves and black trail complete the look.

Red carpet host, Maya Jama was more or less the most eye-catching look of the red-carpet. The 27 year presenter and DJ wore a daring two piece by Lebanese luxury brand Monot. The dress is actually a nod/tribute to the iconic Cher dress of 1986.

Former Pussy Cat Doll, Ashley Roberts continued with the cut out dress by Monot but was sure to warm up her hands.

The cut-out trend became a little bit more subtle, paired with edgy pant suits. The best British song nominee Anne-Marie wore black trousers and an open leather blazer with a torso-wrapping bikini top from the Italian designer Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafi

Singer Lola Young also opted for a jacket over her cut-away outfit, and flares by Blaze Milano. And boots that are reminiscent of the Abba era.
