Earlier last month it was confirmed that the Nabila label has become the official hair and makeup partner for the grand International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA’s), which are commencing tonight. We got in touch with the pioneer, and the brains behind N-PRO and Zero Makeup, Nabila herself, for a quick chat on what to expect from the beauty department that is probably on overdrive right now!

Speaking of the trends we might see tonight, Nabila told us she’s keeping it glamorous. Well one can’t expect any less as the Bollywood stars come out in their Sabyasachi and Manish Malhotra numbers! After all, Nabila is the mastermind who dazzled us with some popping glitter eyeliner at fashion week last year.

However, keeping the current Bollywood/Pakistani cinema situation in mind, one wondered if this would affect the support this collaboration might receive, locally and internationally. “It may [be affected], but that would not be my motivation.” Nabila honestly told us. “It’s a huge honour to bag this project and I will do my utmost to deliver  the best,” Nabila opined regarding the opportunity .

It’s great to see a local brand rising to such great heights, and we are eager to see the magic that is in store tonight.
