Being a Pakistani, every girl faces one common issue i.e the scorching heat of Pakistan. Whether you like it or not, due to global warming, Pakistan will be getting hotter every year and to save you beauties we have have come up with 5 ways to beat the heat and protect your skin in the summers:

  1. Staying hydrated is the key

We all know that we are supposed to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day but do we all do that? No, we don’t. Thanks to technology, we now have apps that remind us to drink a glass of water every hour. Our favorite is Water your Body app for Android.

  1. Save the skin – Use a sunscreen

This might sound obvious but it has become one of the most ignored beauty tip in Pakistan. Before you wear a foundation, BB cream or even go natural, wearing a sunscreen as your base is a must. Also try to use beauty products with SPF 15+.

  1. Scrub off the dead skin

Summers tend to make your skin more oiler which results into an easy exfoliation of facial and body dead skin. We recommend exfoliating your skin every alternate night with the one and only St Ives’ Apricot scrub. Which one do you use?

  1. Cut down the oil

Whichever drugstore or high end foundation you are using, it will melt regardless in Pakistan, so to prevent your face looking like a cream pie use blotting sheets which will absorb access oil on your face during the day. We recommend keeping Clean & Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets with you at all times.

  1. Go smudge proof

Waterproof mascara, smudge proof eyeliners and eye shadows will help prevent your makeup from melting. A good application of pressed powders under the eye and on the T-zone is the best way to reduce the excess oil. Our favorite is Rimmel’s Stay Matte Pressed Powder.
