Our favourite accessory to own, ever, has always been one thing: sunglasses!

They change, frame and pick up your face and look almost immediately. This year we have picked the shapes we recommend as seen on some of our favourite girls about town:

Sahar: The RETRO chic style
Old-school styles are experiencing a resurgence of the ’60s-inspired rounded style. You can never go wrong with an aviator, but try them with blush pink or yellow tint if you want o go beyond the usual black or browns. We, however, like to keep it classic.

Alishay Adnan: The classic CAT-EYE
A perennial favorite, this  shape helps define the cheekbones and gives any outfit a playful edge. If you’re really feeling the feline love, this is the shape for you – we personally love the feminine look it gives!

Shazah Ayub: The OVERSIZED wonder
Anyone acquainted with dark circles and laziness (who wants to put on concealer and make up all the time?!) understand the vital role an oversized pair of glasses can play in your life. This is what will always be a lasting trend

Saba Pervez Dada: The STATEMENT maker
If you are a loyal fashion follower, sunglasses are another excuse to push styling boundaries. From crystals, glitter embellishment and a tiny panther sitting on one side of the frame, straight to florals, you’ve got to have it! This year, invest in it all if that’s your jam! It’s cute and lifts up even the simplest outfit!

Shazay Salahuddin: The MATRIX style
This ’90s are not going anywhere, so get on board and start channeling your inner Keanu Reeves with a micro-size circumference, which isn’t ideal for shielding you from the sun, but it’s the perfect choice for every outfit you want to add that oomph to this year.
