This time the comedian takes on cousin marriages

In true funny man fashion, Ali Gul Pir pranked us on Valentine's Day. Earlier in the month, the comedian-singer posted what seemed to be a wedding card on his Instagram. And of course, we were ecstatic for him!

But then he dropped another hint (well, more than a hint)

"A love song for cousins who grew up together and then ended up marrying each other. I bring you 'Cousin Dhazan'!" Ali Gul Pir took on the rampant cousin marriages in Pakistan. He did it in his usual irreverent, racy style along model-actress Rose Muhammad, sister of Mathira Muhammad.

"I’ve always found it funny how you grow up with your cousins, call them bhai [brother] or aapi [sister] then one day your parents decide that you will marry one of them. Now suddenly, it’s bhai to charpoy! Love can be awkward. That’s my new song 'Cousin Dhazan' premiering at 3pm!" Pir wrote in his song announcement just hours before the release.

Tbh, we had missed his cutting social commentary!
